Instructions for US citizens wishing to evacuate Egypt

If you are interested in evacuating Egypt via USG-chartered transportation you must contact the US Department of State and the US Embassy Cairo by sending an e-mail to EgyptEmergencyUSC@state.gov or by calling 1-202-501-4444.

You will need the following information for each traveler:
  • Name;
  • Age;
  • Place of birth;
  • US passport number;
  • Special medical needs (if any).
Priority will be given to persons with medical emergencies or severe medical conditions.

The Department of State reminds travelers that immediate family members (i.e., spouses and children) who are not US citizens must be documented for entry into the safe haven country and/or US if that is your final destination.
